Around The Corner
I can only hope there is something around the next corner. I have had a great life and this book could not possibly cover every aspect of it. I just wanted to take the time to review segments, to force myself to rethink the timelines and the different elements involved.
It has become too easy to forget, to misinterpret, or to misrepresent my own history. I think it is important to give my survivors some semblance of who I was. I have never been one to take a lot of photos, even now with the ubiquity of superb cameras in our cell phones, if it weren't for my folks and my wife, I wouldn't exist in the future.
I also want to urge my friends and family to read my previous books, even though some of the current events discussed are no longer current. I often used personal stories of anecdotes and activities I shared with friends to illustrate my points. You might be surprised to read about yourself…
But it has been my experience that a lot of the cultural conundrums we underwent in the early part of the 21st century are still unresolved, still in the "News" today. History continues to repeat itself, so the subject matter I like to discuss is still relevant to our cultural instability.
I hope to be around long enough to add more substance to my library. I still have some music left inside me…
